An air ambulance, carrying seven passengers, has reportedly crashed landed in Nazafgarh area of South Delhi on Tuesday afternoon. The air ambulance coming to Delhi from Patna with a heart patient and six other people when it crashed at 2:45 pm. Directorate General of Civil Aviation has initiated a probe into the accident.
The pilot had reported that both engines of the plane had failed just before the crash. The pilot wisely made an emergency landing at a field near Najafgarh avoiding possible accident.
On receiving information from villagers, fire-brigade team rushed to the spot and began rescue operation. Injured passengers have been rushed to the hospital.
