With assembly elections approaching near, political parties have began appeasing various caste and communities in a bid to garner their vote and support. In the same series, BSP’s influential leader Naseemuddin Siddiqui, who is a close confidante of party chief Mayawati, met shia cleric Maulana Kalbe Jawad at his residence on Tuesday.
The cleric and Siddiqui discussed various current political as well as community related issues. Siddiqui assured the cleric that if his party’s government comes to power, it would certainly look into the issues related to the Muslims.
The meeting lasted for around an hour.
