Within 48 hours of banditry and gangrape in Para another banditry incident took place in Kakori
After a lull of about a month, dacoits once again struck in rural area of Lucknow and robbed a tea-seller of cash and valuables after entering into his house at Baajnagar locality in Kakori police station area late on Wednesday night. The robbers, who were about four to five in number beat up the tea-seller, his wife and brother with rods.
According to circle officer Malihabad Javed Khan, tea-seller Ramkishan resides in Baajnagar locality. Late on Wednesday night at around 3 am, dacoits entered his house from the terrace and began collecting valuables. However, on hearing the noise, tea-seller’s wife Rajni woke up. On seeing the robbers, she began shouting for help. Other family members also woke up.
Sensing trouble, the robbers whipped out country-made pistols and asked the family members to keep their mouth shut. Ramkishan, his wife Rajni and brother Srikishan even then resisted the robbers act.
Enraged over this, the robbers began beating the family members with sticks and rods. The robbers then took away Rs 4,000 cash, jewellery and four mobile phones. On hearing the noise, the neighbours also woke up and informed the police. The police rushed to the spot and rushed the injured to nearby CHC. The robbers interestingly had snapped the electricity of the house before entering the house.
According to Khan, the robbers face were open and were looked to be from the local areas.
