The continuing exit of senior leaders from the party had certainly put the BSP in tizzy
UP police has slapped Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act against BSP leaders in the FIR lodged by the mother and wife of ousted BJP leader Dayashankar Singh.
The FIR includes the names of BSP supremo Mayawati, party’s national general secretary Naseemuddin Siddiqui, Ramachal Rajbhar, Mewalal Gautam and others.
SSP Manzil Saini confirmed the news saying that the sub section 1 of section 11 of POCSO Act of 2012 has been included in the FIR by CO Hazratganj Ashok Verma. He said that Verma recorded the statement of Dayashankar’s wife Savita Singh and his mother Tetra Devi.
The FIR was lodged by Tetra Devi on 22 July after BSP leaders passed derrogatory and lewd remarks against Dayashankar’s family members including his minor daughter during a protest rally in Lucknow on 21 July.
Dayashankar’s family had earlier met UP Governor Ram Naik for the same and submitted the memorandum by demanding POCSO Act against BSP leaders.
