DM allows classes of VI to VIII to remain open until May 14 as weather condition improves in Lucknow

Pleasant weather for the past three days especially in the morning amidst forecast of similar weather condition for the next week has made district administration reconsider its earlier order. District Magistrate Raj Shekhar relaxed his earlier order allowing school and colleges to extend class until May 14 from VI to VIII, if they desire so.

The DM has allowed the school authorities, many of whom had requested to allow one week extension to complete pending syllabus, to either extend classes for one week or close the classes as per earlier order from May 6th onwards. However, classes from Nursery to Class Vth would close from May 7 onwards, the DM order further said.

Further making it clear, the DM order said that the directives were subject to extreme weather condition.
