Heavy firing kills two visitors at Naini jail in Allahabad

Motorcycle-borne miscreants opened indiscriminate firing on visitors who had come to meet their relative lodged at Naini Jail in Allahabad on Sunday. In the firing, son and uncle of a murder accused lodged in the jail were killed while four others were injured. The police recovered a rifle and a pistol from the spot.
According to Allahabad police, Jhusi resident ChandrabhanYadav was loged in Naini Jail allegedly for the murder of two brothers of one Shailendra. On Sunday, Chandrabhan’s family members had come to meet him in the jail on Sunday afternoon. No sooner than they alighted the four-wheeler, two motorcycle-miscreants hurled crude bomb on them creating flutter in the area.
The miscreants then opened indiscriminate firing on the Yadav’s kin. The bullet struck Chandrabhan’s son Wakil Yadav and uncle Lalta Prasad while Suresh Yadav, Jai Prakash and two others received injuries.
The police on reaching the spot rushed the injured to the hospital. The police also recovered a rifle and a pistol from the spot. Chandrabhan’s family members are suspecting the role of Shaildendra behind the killing. The police at the moment is investigating the case.
