Historian wins Iceland’s Presidential elections

History professor Gudni Johanesson won Presidential elections in Iceland, 38 percent people have caste their vote in favour of Johanesson .

Johanesson is Iceland’s first new president in twenty years and he will replace Prez Grimsson who has served five consecutive tenors. President Johanesson will be sworn in as the 6th president of Republic of Iceland, Gudni Johanesson is an associate professor at the University of Iceland.

Johansson said his first task would be to fly to France to support his team against England in second round match in European cup 2016.
