Indian woman working with NGO in Kabul kidnapped, efforts on to rescue her

An Indian woman working for an NGO in Kabul, Afghanistan has been kidnapped from Taimani area in Kabul. Ministry of external affairs communicated Afghan officials to do efforts to secure her release.

According to the reports of Indianexpress, the woman was identified as Judith D’Souza (40), who hails from Kolkata and works with the Aga Khan Foundation. She was abducted Thursday night.

However, information of the kidnappers and the reason of kidnapping have not been ascertained so far.
