Know what these chain-snatchers do after committing every crime

Every time they committed crime, they donated some amount from the robbed booty in a temple, offer chaadar at a mazaar or even organised a mass feasting. This way they used to find solace and reduce their guilt of committing crime. The police nabbed four members of chain-snatching gang from Gomtinagar police station area on Thursday. They were identified as Umesh Kumar Kashyap alias Pintu, Ayush Saxena, Manoj Kumar and Shahnawaz.
Only recently, Ayush, the gang leader had organised a bhandar at Shani Temple just adjacent to Hotel Clarks Awadh.
SSP Manzil Saini confirmed that they believed in religious offerings after committing a chain or a purse snatching. Ayush used to generally snatch the chain while Umesh used to drive the two-wheeler. The other two identified as Manoj and Shahnawaz also used to commit chain snatching, the police said.
The police have also recovered a Munger-built pistol from their possession.
Ayush, who puts up a tea stall in Hazratganj told the police that he used to commit the crime generally late in the evening in the dark. Their involvement until now has been ascertained in at least 15 cases, the SSP said.
