Nine year-old Vidha enthralls audience at Police Lines with her bhajan

Nine year-old Vidha Chandra, who is enrolled in the fourth standard of Lucknow’s La Martiniere College, performed Hindu devotional songs at a Cultural Function held at Reserve Police Lines on the occasion of Krishna Janamashtami on Thursday.

The bhajan – Shyam Teri Bansi Pukare Radha Naam – sung by Vidha during the evening celebrations of the religious festival left the audience at the Police Lines awestruck with many of them later claiming that she has a voice of a star.

Nine year-old Vidha is the daughter of Deputy Superintendent of Police Vinay Chandra, who is appointed at the Intelligence Headqaurters, and has been learning classical for last four years.
