A jeweller and his younger brother were shot by 3 miscreants in Unnao district of Uttar
Four family members of an NRI were found dead at a room in their house in Mauravan police station area of Unnao here on Wednesday. The bodies looked to be at least one to two days old.
The exact cause of the death has not been ascertained as the police failed to find any injury mark or bruises on the bodies.
On receiving the information, police force led by SP Unnao Neha Pandey rushed to the spot and began investigation into the matter.
A forensic teams help had been sought. IG Zone A Satish Ganesh has dispatched a forensic team from Lucknow to ascertain the cause of the death.
According to police, family of Manoj, a resident of Maurava was residing at Shivpura Colony. While Manoj was employed in Kuwait, his wife Sarita (40) and three daughters Monika (21), Mahima (14) and Astha were living in Shivpura Colony house.
However, since May 2, neighbours couldn’t spot any of the family members and on getting suspicious informed the local police. Maurava police reached the spot and tried to open the room but was found locked from inside. The police broke opened the doors and found four of them dead.
The police have sent the bodies for the post-mortem and were waiting for the report to ascertain the exact cause of the death.
