Festivities of Bakrid (Eid-ul-Azah) would be under close watch of drone cameras in the Old City area of Lucknow where elaborate securty arrangements have been made in view of the Bakrid festival on September 13. The Old City area has been divided into zones and sectors.
According to SP (west) Sarvesh Kumar Misra, each sector and zone in charge would be a police as well as an administrative officer. To ensure peaceful celebration of Bakrid festival, 6 additional ASPs, 15 DySPs, 18 inspectorsm 12 station officers, 120 sub-inspectors, 107 head constables and 450 constables have been deployed. In addition, 7 companies of PAC and para-military forces have been deployed. Sensitive and hyper-sensitive spots had been identified, Misra said.
Along with this, CCTV cameras, moder control room, CCTV camera mobile vans, drone cameras are being used to keep a watch on anti-social elements. Orders have been given to station incharges of Thakurganj, Chowk, Wazirganj, Bazaarkhala, Aminabad, Kaiserbagh, Naka, Saadatganj and Talkatora areas.
