Among the widespread panic creating rumours about newly introduced currency notes one is ‘Don Hazaar’ written twice on backside of the note of Rs 2000 note. Various social media sites were claiming it to be a big error. RBI clearly states that there are 15 languages on the back side of the note, stating the value of money in script. These 15 languages do not include Devnagri. The ‘Don Hazaar’ written on the note is in Marathi and Konkani. The rumour of wrong spelling is totally false.
