A seagull in the United Kingdom turned bright orange after it fell into a container having chicken tikka masala powder at a food factory in Wales. This curry powder dyed it completely.
The bird fell into the container while trying to scavenge meat from a food factory bin on Monday. It was rescued by workers at the site in Wales, and picked up to be cleaned by a volunteer for hospital, near Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire. –The Guardian reported.
Despite a good scrub with dishwashing detergent used to remove the orange colour from its feathers, the bird’s feathers still had the smell of the Indian curry powder. The bird, which has since been nicknamed Gullfrazie on Facebook, will remain at the centre until it is well enough to be released.
