Six children of a family charred to death as huge fire erupts after candle falls in Bareilly

Tragedy struck at a house in Bareilly when six children of the same family were charred to death after fire erupted early on Friday morning under Kila police station area.

This is the second major incident of fire where children have died. Coincidently, even in the fire at Dewa in Barabanki on April 26, six children were among 8 dead. At Barabanki, fire erupted at a house of Lallaram, where marriage ceremony functions were going on. The fire engulfed Lallaram’s house when an LPG cylinder exploded.

At Bareilly, fire erupted when a burning candle fell on Friday morning at 5. The belongings in the house caught fire and soon the fire spread in the house killing six children, most of whom were fast asleep.

Fire brigade team and police team rushed to the spot and brought the fire under control. However, six of the children who came under the fire could not be saved. The children were identified as Saloni (17), Sanjana (15), Bhuri (10), Durga (8), Mahima (9), Debu (7). Five of them were girls while one boy Debu was also killed.
