The purse and jewellery of a woman was robbed by two robbers near Munshi Pulia police station, Indira Nagar. Currently, no FIR is registered. Savitri is the wife of Udayraj,who is a construction goods trader and lives at Bharatpur Sector-14 Indira Nagar with his family. Savitri was returning home on Saturday from Tedwa village where she had gone to attend a marriage ceremony.
Near Munshi Pulia police station a young lad stopped her midway enquiring about some address and in the mean time another man arrived there and managed to convince her to hand over her mangalsutra through religious conversation. It was only when consistently he asked her for her gold chain that Savitri grew suspicious about their intentions. She tried to scream but they snatched her chain, ring and purse holding her mouth tightly and fled away from the spot. After a while mob gathered and Udayraj also arrived at the location and informed the police. SO Indira Nagar, Novendra Singh Sirohi told that the police reached the spot immediately after receiving the information of the incident.Till now no clue could be traced of the thieves and the victims had not registered any FIR. FIR would be registered on the basis of information given by the victim.
