Unidentified bodies of two youth found in different areas of Lucknow

Bodies of two youth were found in two separate police station areas in Lucknow on Thursday morning. While body of a youth was found floating in Gomti near 1090 Crossing in Gautampalli police station area, body of another youth was found at a railway line in Chowk area on Thursday morning.
Police have failed to identify both the bodies as yet.
Gautampalli Station Officer Surendra Katiyar told media persons that people near Gandhi Setu bridge saw a floating body in the Gomti river on Thursday morning. On receiving the information, police reached the spot and pressed divers to fish out the body.
The body looks to old and was fished out in a mutilated condition. After investigation, police have sent the body for the post-mortem.
In Chowk, body of a youth was found at a railway line in Chowk. The police have not been able to identify the body. The police however, believe that the youth might have been run over by some train.
Inspector Chowk, Sudhakar Pandey told media persons that people saw a dead body of a youth at railway line near Daliganj bridge on Thurday morning. On receiving the information, Chowk police reached the spot but failed to ascertain the youth’s identity.
Despite police claim, the fact that the body bore several injury marks have raised a few questions. The police have however, sent the body for the post-mortem and were waiting for the autopsy report before jumping to any conclusion.
