The man who kept on hitting his younger sister-in-law with a sharp-edge weapon until she died, was also lynched by the villagers at Sukhlalkheda in Kakori police station area on Wednesday. The man was identified as Rajendra Yadav while the sister-in-law was identified as Kiran Yadav, wife of Vijendra Yadav, who runs a tea shop.
TosNews had reported in the morning that after Vijendra left for the tea shop as usual, Rajendra began hitting Kiran with a sharp-edge weapon. On listening to the cries of help from Kiran, villagers rushed to her rescue. However, she was found lying dead in a pool of blood by the time villagers reached the spot.
Later, the villagers then caught hold of Rajendra and beat him up black and blue. By the time the police arrived, Rajendra was badly injured and was rushed to trauma centre where the doctors declared him dead in the evening. The police have registered a case against unidentified villagers in the matter.
