W Bengal Governor’s nephew killed in road accident in Allahabad

In a tragic incident, West Bengal Governor Keshari Nath Tripathi’s 45-year-old nephew died in road accident when his two-wheeler fell between the front and rear tyres of a truck near Allahabad Railway Station.
His nephew was identified as Nitin Tripathi. On Sunday evening, at around 6, he was going towards Civil Lines from Allahabad Railway station side via High Court bypass when the accident took place. According to the police, Nitin riding a black colour two-wheeler scooter tried to overtake a truck when he lost balance and fell between the front and rear tyre of a truck moving ahead of him.
He came under the truck and died, the police said and added that Nitin body was sent for post-mortem. Allahabad zone IG RK Chaturvedi confirmed that Nitin was the nephew of West Bengal governor.
Nitin had four brothers and his mother Vidhya Devi. The police have seized the truck after the accident.
