His happiness to clear High School exam was shortlived. A dispute over Rs 7,800 led to the murder of a class Xth pass out student by his friends in Shamli late on Sunday night. The deceased was identified as Rohan (16), a resident of Gujratiyan area in Shamli district.
According to SP Shamli Vijay Bhusan, after passing the high school exams, his two friends Sagar and Nimesh (names changed) came to Rohan’s house and asked for a party for passing the high school exams. Rohan immediately agreed and went with the two to enjoy the party. However, heated exchange of words began when Rohand asked the two give him back Rs 7,800 which they have borrowed from him. The situation turned for worse, when the two whipped out a country-made pistol and shot at Rohan.
When Rohan didn’t return home late night, his family members got worried and began a search for him. They finally tumbled across blood stained body of Rohan. The police also rushed to the spot and began investigation into the incident. The police then arrested Rohan’s two friends and recovered the pistol used in the crime.
The matter was being investigated.
